Freeline launches with L25 million from Syncona

Freeline Therapeutics (London, U.K.) is raising L25 million ($37.7 million) in a series A round from Syncona LLP.
Freeline, which is developing gene therapies for bleeding and other disorders, spun out of University College London's tech transfer company UCL Business plc. Freeline's next-generation adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector platform was developed by CSO Amit Nathwani, who is a professor of hematology at UCL. ...
