Ginkgo raises $275M series D round

Ginkgo Bioworks Inc. (Boston, Mass.) raised $275 million in a series D round on Thursday. All previous investors participated, including Viking Global, Y Combinator's Continuity Fund and Bill Gates' Cascade Investments. New investor General Atlantic and other undisclosed new investors also participated.
