Combined inhibition of DYRK1A, TGFβ increases β cell proliferation

Researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and colleagues showed that dual inhibition of DYRK1A and transforming growth factor β (TGFβ) synergistically increased human β cell proliferation, suggesting the combination could be used to treat diabetes.
