OncoMed raises $93 million

OncoMed (Redwood City, Calif.) raised $93 million in the final tranche of a series B round, bringing the total raised in the round to $154 million. New investor Nomura Phase4 participated in the financing along with existing investors. Adams Street Partners led the overall B round, with participation from U.S. Venture Partners; Latterell Venture Partners; The Vertical Group; Morgenthaler Ventures; De Novo Ventures; Bay Partners; and GlaxoSmithKline (LSE:GSK; NYSE:GSK). ...
