AmpiProbe HCV RNA assay diagnostic data

A study in 150 human serum and plasma samples from patients with HCV infection and healthy controls showed that Enzo's AmpiProbe HCV RNA assay had 100% concordance for detecting the presence or absence of HCV to that of the Cobas Amplicor HCV test from Roche (SIX:ROG; OTCQX:RHHBY, Basel, Switzerland). Additionally, the lower limit of detection of the assay was 0.00045 IU/mL. Furthermore, Enzo said AmpiProbe showed no cross-reactivity to other infectious viruses and no susceptibility to potentially interfering substances associated with clinical samples.
