The CV genes-at-target consortium led by German Heart Center Munich (Munich, Germany) received a €5.8 million ($7.8 million) grant from the EU's Framework Programme 7 (FP7) to evaluate genomic risk loci for coronary artery disease (CAD) and stroke in in vitro and in vivo settings and determine whether any are suitable targets for therapeutics.
