Synthace completes series A

Synthace Ltd. (London, U.K.) raised £7.3 million ($9.9 million) on Sept. 19 in a series A round led by Sofinnova Partners and White Cloud Capital. Amadeus Capital Partners and Eleven Two Capital participated in the round, alongside existing investors SOSV and Bioeconomy Capital. Synthace told BioCentury that the Rainbow Seed Fund and some high-net-worth angels also participated.

The technology company is developing Antha, an operating system and language, to increase interoperability in biology.
