Haitong leads Orig3n's series B

Regenerative medicine company Orig3n Inc. (Boston, Mass.) said it had an initial close of a series B round led by Haitong International. A spokesperson for Orig3n told BioCentury that existing investors Hatteras Venture Partners, Alexandria Venture Investments, Labcorp, Spectrum Health Ventures, 180 degree capital, VECTR Ventures, KTB Ventures, DEFTA Partners, MMIC Investment Holdings and Mountain Group Partners also participated.

Orig3n did not disclose how much it raised in the initial close; however, it did say it has raised over $50 million since its founding, including a $12.5 million series A co-led by Hatteras Venture Partners and Syno Capital in 2015...
