Hearing loss play Akouos grabs $50M series A

Akouos Inc. (Boston, Mass.) raised $50 million on Aug. 7 in a series A round co-led by existing investors 5AM Ventures and New Enterprise Associates. Partners Innovation Fund and new investors Sofinnova Ventures, RA Capital Management and Novartis Venture Fund also participated.
