Quest Diagnostics sales and marketing update

Quest Diagnostics' Athena Diagnostics Inc. business unit launched a clinical test panel to help primary care physicians diagnose the cause of dementia in patients presenting with cognitive impairment. The test panel will evaluate a patient for potentially reversible causes of dementia, such as vitamin B12 deficiency hypothyroidism, anemia and diabetes. Patients with abnormal test results may respond to treatment for the identified underlying cause, while patients with normal test results may require evaluation by a neurologist for additional dementia causes, including Alzheimer's disease (AD). ...
