ENZ said that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld a decision by the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware that ENZ's U.S. Patent No. 5,272,065 covering genetic antisense technology is valid. The ruling arose from a 1993 patent infringement suit brought by ENZ against Calgene Inc. (Davis, Calif.), which was acquired by Monsanto in 1997. ...
