Enzon Inc. regulatory update

The Piscataway, N.J., company and Research Corporation Technologies Inc. will seek extension of the U.S. Pegnology patent covering PEG-superoxide dismutase (PEG-SOD). Interim patent extension is available under recently revised U.S. patent laws, provided an NDA is filed before the patent's scheduled expiration at the end of 1996. PEG-SOD was developed by ENZN under a license from Research Corporation Technologies.
