RMP-7 permeability enhancer data

The Cambridge, Mass., company reported animal data showing greater concentration of an anti-viral drug in the eye when RMP-7 was used to enhance access across the blood-eye barrier.

At the New Concepts of a Blood-Brain Barrier meeting in London, the company showed that concentrations of radiolabeled sucrose used as a marker, and the drug ganciclovir, were increased two to six-fold (p<0.01) in the retinal and lens compartments of the eye when given with RMP-7. ...
