CTII (Providence, R.I.) received an exclusive worldwide license from NeuroSpheres Ltd. (Calgary) to develop neural stem cells for transplantation to treat human disease.
Neural stem cells have been shown to divide indefinitely in vitro in the presence of certain growth factors, CTII said. The cells also may be useful in gene therapy applications. ...
