Gilead, Mylan sales and marketing update

Mylan's Mylan Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. subsidiary was named Gilead's exclusive branded medicines partner for India and was granted exclusive rights to commercialize infectious disease products from Gilead in India. Products included under the deal are Viread tenofovir disoproxil, which is approved to treat HIV and HBV infection; HIV drugs Truvada emtricitabine/tenofovir and Stribild elvitegravir/cobicistat/emtricitabine/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate; and antifungal drug AmBisome amphotericin B. Mylan already had rights to commercialize its own generic versions of Gilead's HIV drugs in India under a 2006 deal. The partners could not be reached for details. ...
