House passes finance bill

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 223-202 on Friday to pass the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009 (H.R. 4173). The bill would give non-accelerated filers (companies with a public float of less than $75 million) a permanent exemption from compliance with Section 404b of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, which requires external auditing of internal control reports. ...
