Zilver PTX Drug-Eluting Stent regulatory update

FDA approved the Zilver PTX Drug-Eluting Stent from Cook Medical Inc. to treat peripheral artery disease (PAD) in the femoropopliteal artery. The company plans to launch the product in the U.S. early next year. FDA said the drug-eluting stent is the first approved to treat PAD. Cook Medical is part of the Cook Group. ...
