IBM and Quest launched the IBM Watson Genomics for sequencing and analysis of tumors’ genomic makeup and identification of therapeutic options. Doctors can use the service by sending patients’ solid tumor biopsy tissue to Quest for genomic sequencing of treatment-associated genes.
