Stein named to CDER post

FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research named Peter Stein deputy director at its Office of New Drugs. Stein was most recently VP for late-stage development in diabetes and endocrinology at the Merck Research Laboratories unit of Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK).
