Cigna, Anthem merger news

Cigna said it received a notice from fellow health insurer Anthem requesting to extend the termination date of its proposed merger to April 30 from Jan. 31. The notice was received following the trial completion of a civil antitrust lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice and attorneys general in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to block the merger, citing that the merger would "increase concentration and harm competition."
