Wyss grants Novartis rights to implantable biomaterial systems

The Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University (Boston, Mass.) granted Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS; SIX:NOVN) worldwide rights to implantable, 3D porous biosystems material which the institute is developing to deliver immunotherapies. The partners will collaborate to use the technology to deliver Novartis' second-generation cancer immunotherapies for up to ten undisclosed targets. ...
