Metacrine raises $65M series C

Metacrine Inc. (San Diego, Calif.) raised $65 million on June 6 in an untranched series C round led by Venrock Healthcare. New investors Franklin Templeton Investments, Deerfield Management, Arrowmark Partners, Invus, Lilly Asia Ventures and Vivo Capital also participated, as did existing investors Arch Venture Partners, venBio, Polaris Partners, New Enterprise Associates and Alexandria Venture Investments.
