Quick departure for Semerjian as Immunomedics CEO; plus Ziopharm, Kinnate, Applied Therapeutics, Relmada, AskBio and more

Less than two months after becoming president and CEO of Immunomedics Inc. (NASDAQ:IMMU), Harout Semerjian is stepping down because of “unfortunate significant logistical obstacles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic,” according to the cancer company. Executive Chairman Behzad Aghazadeh will continue to help lead the company, which does not expect to begin a CEO search until the “COVID-19 situation is stabilized.”
