Karo Bio CEO leaves
Metabolic and endocrine company Karo Bio AB (SSE:KARO) said Fredrik Lindgren will depart as CEO. Newly elected Chairman Goran Wessman said the "board and CEO were not working well together so the board decided it was best to part ways as conditions for continued cooperation were just too limited." Wessman added that the board will appoint a temporary replacement at its ordinary board meeting on Tuesday, and then will make a decision on a permanent replacement in the coming months.
Earlier this month, Karo Bio shareholders elected Wessman and a new board at the company's annual meeting. The new slate was proposed by shareholder Jan Lundberg, who represented a group of shareholders that own 38% of Karo Bio's shares. (see BioCentury, May 16). ...
