Genzyme down on earnings news

GENZ fell $5.13 to $60.65 on Wednesday after it reported first quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.59, missing by $0.04 the Street's estimate of $0.63 but up 16% from $0.51 in the same period in 2005. GENZ's first quarter revenues were $730.8 million, up 16% from $629.9 million in the prior year's quarter but shy of the Street's expectations of revenues of $749.1 million. ...
