Cangene gets $362 million botulism contract

The Department of Health and Human Services awarded Cangene (TSX:CNJ) a $362 million contract to supply 200,000 doses of botulinum toxin immune globulin over five years. The company said it will begin receiving payments upon delivery to the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile, which it expects to start by mid- to late 2007.
