Viagra does not increase blindness risk

Pfizer (PFE) said FDA concluded that there is "no causal relationship" between use of erectile dysfunction (ED) drug Viagra sildenafil and blindness but still wants the drug's label updated to include reports of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). NAION, an optic nerve disease that can cause vision loss, usually occurs in men with diabetes or cardiovascular diseases.
