ABI beats Street

Applied Biosystems (ABI) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.27, which beat the Street's $0.25 estimate by two pennies and was up 17% from EPS of $0.23 in the same period last year. EPS figures for both quarters exclude certain charges. Net revenues for the fourth quarter were $460.5 million, up 6% from $432.9 million in the fourth quarter last year.
