Bayer buys Roche's OTC business

Roche (SWX:ROCZ) will sell its global Roche Consumer Health OTC business to Bayer (FSE:BAYG; BAY) for EUR 2.4 billion ($3 billion). BAYG also will acquire ROCZ's 50% share of a 1997 U.S. joint venture between the companies and five ROCZ production sites.
