Gilead drops Viread price in developing countries

GILD lowered the price of HIV drug Viread tenofovir by 37% in developing countries to $24.71 for a 30-day supply, or $0.82 per day. GILD said the decrease resulted from improvements in the drug's manufacturing process. GILD offers the antiretroviral through its Gilead Access Program for no profit in 68 countries. ...
