Recent crackdowns on export regulations in China may provide clues into ongoing GenScript investigations

While Chinese authorities aren’t stating the specific reason why Legend Biotech Chairman and CEO Frank Zhang is under “residential surveillance,” recent enforcement of and changes to export regulations could offer hints to what may have triggered the ongoing investigation into GenScript, Legend’s former parent company and majority shareholder.
