Anderson joining Sofinnova Partners to bridge European biotechs to public markets
Veteran investor to manage French firm’s crossover fund as IPOs continue to price at record pace in 2020

On the back of two recent NASDAQ listings by European portfolio companies, Sofinnova Partners has added Joe Anderson as partner to manage the firm’s $340 million crossover fund at a time of record fund-raising for biotech companies.
Anderson has more than two decades of healthcare investment experience, most recently as co-founder, CEO and CIO of Arix Bioscience plc (LSE:ARIX), a life sciences venture capital firm launched in 2016.
