Shearman named Editas CSO; plus Kyowa Kirin, Excision, IDbyDNA, and more

Mark Shearman will join Editas Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ:EDIT) in June as EVP and CSO. Shearman currently serves as CSO of Applied Genetic Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:AGTC).
Kyowa Kirin Co. Ltd. (Tokyo:4151) hired Ernesto Aycardi as chief development officer and Eslie Dennis as CMO. Aycardi was CMO at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:XENE), and Dennis was VP and head of global medical affairs of Roche Tissue Diagnostics unit at Roche (SIX:ROG; OTCQX:RHHBY). The drug discovery and antibody play also named Deborah Braccia as head of global medical affairs excellence. Braccia was VP of North America region medical affairs head at the company. ...
