July a busy month for IPOs as new quintet lands on NASDAQ

Five more biopharmas priced IPOs on NASDAQ ahead of Friday’s session, bringing to a close a July in which 15 drug developers went public on the exchange, the most of any month this year.

Although none of the five had a large first-day pop, shares of precision oncology and neuroscience company Immuneering Corp. (NASDAQ:IMRX) rose 17%, while Tenaya Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:TNYA) ceded some value after trading up by double digits, settling for a 2% gain at close. Neither, however, matched the first-day performance by Institute for Protein Design spinout Icosavax Inc.
