Marks takes over FDA vaccines office

Move sparks departures of two vaccine reviewers

In a sign of the continuing turbulence in FDA’s regulation of COVID-19 vaccines, Peter Marks, director of FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, announced Monday that he has taken over responsibility for the Office of Vaccines Research & Review.
