Nobel winning chemist Grubbs passes

Longtime Caltech professor served on Aileron’s SAB

Nobel Laureate and SAB member of Aileron Robert Grubbs passed away on Dec. 19. He was 79.

Grubbs was a co-winner of the 2005 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for developing the olefin metathesis method in organic synthesis.
