Industry leaders call for unified pandemic preparedness policy 

In a discussion paper published by the National Academy of Medicine, six senior executives of pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics and medical equipment companies have identified lessons learned from COVID-19 and priorities for improving pandemic preparedness.

The paper calls for calls for Congress and the executive branch to take steps to secure supply chains and coordinate communication to the public, and for Congress to enact laws that facilitate focused collaboration among private companies and government in response to health emergencies. ...
