Biogen’s Friedl-Naderer joins Vir as CBO

Vir Biotechnology Inc. (NASDAQ:VIR) hired Johanna Friedl-Naderer as EVP and CBO, global, effective March 2. Friedl-Naderer joins the company from Biogen Inc. (NASDAQ:BIIB), where she was president of Europe, Canada and partner markets, having started at the company in 2001 as a product specialist. Friedl-Naderer has also served on several boards, including the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries & Associations, the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, Interpharma, and the council of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations.
