Lowe’s Denton becomes CFO at Pfizer

David Denton will become CFO and EVP OF  Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) on May 2, succeeding Frank D’Amelio, who will be leaving after a 15-year career at the company. Denton joins from Lowe’s Companies Inc., where he was CFO and EVP.  Before that, he held several roles at CVS Health Corp. (NYSE:CVS) for 22 years, including as EVP and CFO. Denton played a key role in the $70 billion acquisition of Aetna. 

Flagship Pioneering hired Michelle Werner as CEO-partner and CEO of Alltrna, a Flagship-backed tRNA-based therapies company. Werner was most recently worldwide franchise head of solid tumors at the oncology division of Novartis AG (SIX:NOVN; NYSE:NVS). Before Novartis, she held senior roles at AstraZeneca plc (LSE:AZN; NASDAQ:AZN) and Bristol Myers Squibb Co. (NYSE:BMY)...
