Merck’s Garay to head commercial at Moderna

Arpa Garay will join  Moderna Inc. (NASDAQ:MRNA) as chief commercial officer, effective May 31. Garay joins from Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK), where she most recently was chief marketing officer of its human health business. Moderna is expanding its commerical footprint and disclosed in February that it was planning to sell its vaccines according to a subscription model.

Cameron Turtle is leaving BridgeBio Pharma Inc. (NASDAQ:BBIO) as chief strategy officer. His departure comes as the company seeks to cut costs “hard and fast” due to current market condition, according to a company spokesperson, who added that details would be released in the coming weeks.
