Ex-Editas CEO Bosley among Advent’s new hires
U.K.-based VC taps Bosley, BioMotiv’s Jindal as it builds U.S. team; hires Syncona’s Schmidt in U.K.

As U.K.-based venture firm Advent invests a pair of 2021-vintage funds, the firm has hired three new investment personnel, including former Editas CEO Katrine Bosley as its newest venture partner.
The group includes Dominic Schmidt and Satish Jindal, both of whom will be general partners at Advent Life Sciences. Schmidt was a partner at Syncona Ltd. (LSE:SYNC) for eight years, and Jindal was most recently CEO of accelerator BioMotiv, with which Advent partnered as 2022 began to advise on current and future investments...
