Meeting to discuss designs for trials of therapies, vaccines

Amid signs that monkeypox may have spread too widely for the current outbreak to be contained and extinguished, WHO is convening a meeting this week to develop a research roadmap for diagnostics, treatments and vaccines.
The June 1 and 2 meeting is intended to identify knowledge gaps and priority research questions, and lay plans for using novel approaches to urgently develop evidence about medical countermeasures. ...
