GOP members of Congress fueling vaccine skepticism

Echoing concerns raised by vaccine skeptics and anti-vaccine advocates, Republican members of Congress are accusing FDA of rushing to authorize mRNA COVID-19 vaccines for young children and of disregarding safety concerns.

They are demanding that hundreds of thousands of pages of data about COVID-19 vaccines be released prior to a decision, and that a set of questions that incorporate concerns expressed by vaccine skeptics be raised and answered at a June 15 meeting of the Vaccines and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) meeting.
