Marti leaving Novartis Oncology legal team 

Francisco Marti announced on LinkedIn that he was leaving Novartis AG (SIX:NOVN; NYSE:NVS) after almost 16 years. He has most recently served as head legal global marketing value and access and cell & gene at Novartis Oncology. First based in Switzerland and then the U.S., Marti started out at Novartis as legal counsel in 2006, rising to head of legal in Europe in 2016. His post alluded to a new opportunity, but was not more specific. His departure amid a major reorganization at the pharma, as discussed by Novartis Chief Commerical Officer Marie-France Tschudin in a Q&A with BioCentury published last week.
