New era, old problems, puts pressure on the C-suite to adapt

There’s much good news for employers in how their workforce is rating management’s performance and making decisions to stay or go, but scratch below the surface, and there are still issues — mostly age-old ones — that company executives can’t ignore if they want to emerge from this disruption in the talent environment with the staff they need to build the next generation of innovations.
Listening, providing career development, transparency — none of these are new to any seasoned leader as keys to retaining and developing a motivated and productive crew. But the issues still emerge as top of the list for what management could do better...
