Genentech bolsters marketing team

The Genentech Inc. unit of Roche (SIX:ROG; OTCQX:RHHBY) hired Erica Taylor as its first chief marketing officer, and Ozgun “Oz” Demir as its first head of digital marketing. Taylor was head of strategy and chief of staff, global product strategy at Roche. Demir was executive director and head of digital strategy for oncology at Novartis AG (SIX:NOVN; NYSE:NVS).
Saudi Arabia’s Hevolution Foundation named William Greene as chief investment officer to oversee the non-profit’s investment strategy, planning, analysis, and execution. Greene was CEO of Fountain Therapeutics Inc., a longevity company, before becoming an adviser at Hevolution in May. He was previously a managing director at MPM Capital and also served as founding chairman and head of the investment committee at the Global Health Investment Fund.
