Okamura to lead Astellas

Chief Strategy Officer Naoki Okamura will become president and CEO of Astellas Pharma Inc. (Tokyo:4503), succeeding Kenji Yasukawa, who will transition to the role of chairman, effective April 1. Claus Zieler, the president of established markets commercial, will become chief commercial officer (CCO); and EVP of Corporate Strategy Adam Pearson was named the new chief strategy officer.
