Kite’s Huston joins Galapagos as CFO, COO

Galapagos N.V. (Euronext:GLPG; NASDAQ:GLPG) hired Thad Huston as CFO and COO, effective July 1. Huston will join the company from Kite Pharma Inc., part of Gilead Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD), where he is global head of finance and corporate operations. Huston joins the company as CEO Paul Stoffels works to shift its direction and focus; Stoffels discussed his vision for the company on The BioCentury Show in April.
