Incoming BIO CEO Crowley says priority is protecting innovation
Founder and executive chairman of Amicus to start in March, has earned trust of industry, lawmakers, patient groups

BIO has selected John Crowley, founder and executive chairman of Amicus, as its next CEO. He will bring hands-on experience with the challenges of leading a biotech company to the job, as well as service as a naval intelligence officer and the perspective of a father who has cared and advocated for two children with a rare disease.
Crowley will step down from his role at Amicus Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:FOLD) and start his position as BIO’s CEO on March 4, 2024. Rachel King will continue to serve as BIO’s CEO until Crowley joins. ...
