Karuna vet Paul among new Third Rock venture partners

Third Rock Ventures recruited Steve Paul, who recently stepped down as CSO and president of R&D of Karuna Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:KRTX). Paul joins the VC as one of four new venture partners, alongside Vyas Ramanan, whom the VC promoted from principal, and new hires Mary Lynne Hedley and Courtney Wallace. Hedley co-founded Tesaro Inc., which was acquired by GSK plc (LSE:GSK; NYSE:GSK); Wallace was CBO at Beam Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:BEAM). Third Rock also promoted Jigar Raythatha to partner from venture partner.
Rare disease company Soleno Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:SLNO) hired Meredith Manning as chief commercial officer (CCO), Dairine Dempsey as VP, Europe, and Lauren Budesheim as VP of human resources.
